Decolonial AI: An Indigenous African Perspective

Artificial Intelligence has become a disruptive force in nearly every system worldwide, while the emerging risks of its materiality are hardly understood. In an attempt to outline a global framework for ethical responsible A.I. technology, this lecture considers the implications and importance of an Indigenous African perspective.
Dodzi Koku Hattoh, PhD, EMCPS, is a philosopher, transdisciplinary researcher, crisis simulator, and consultant specialist. He currently serves as coordinator of the Ethics Lab at the University of Ghana.
